Let's Act Together: Arman Tatoyan's Message to the Public

The Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "Dear compatriots, in order to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic as quickly as possible, we all need to be united. Let's act together, showing responsibility regarding adherence to the rules against this virus for the sake of our children, our parents, sisters, and brothers, to return to normal life as soon as possible.

The true assessment of the work of our specialists in various fields, who are fighting day and night against the coronavirus, is not about sharing praise for them on social media but about changing our behavior and showing real responsibility towards each other. I am confident that the quicker we unite, the quicker we will overcome this trial.

Throughout history, we have repeatedly demonstrated unity and collectively overcome seemingly insurmountable situations. During the calendar year, we have numerous memorable days, and speaking about them fills us with pride for our incredible victories. Adding one more to that list of memorable days is in the hands of each of us today, as a result of our unity and cooperation.

Let's adhere to the rules of preventing this virus, care for each other, and save lives."
