Yesterday Shushan's temperature was elevated, while Arpi's dropped; today both are within normal range. Neither I, Mariam, nor Mr. Pashinyan have a fever. This was stated by Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, during a remote interview on Freedom Radio.

She shared that today pediatricians and adult doctors came to conduct medical examinations and provide advice. According to Anna Hakobyan, it was unexpected for their family members to get infected: “Prime Minister Pashinyan, who works every day, and Mariam, who often is in public places despite working from home, have always followed the rules.”

As per Anna Hakobyan, the skepticism in our society regarding the existence and danger of the coronavirus is part of our national characteristics, a national psychology that suggests we have come through very difficult situations in the past, and we will easily overcome this as well. “But I have acquaintances, one of whom can barely breathe and cannot even speak, while another is suffering severely from the disease. The treatment process is quite unpleasant. This is a case that is very offensive; in other countries, which we can refer to as cold nations, they do not like to hug or stay close to one another, and the situation is not as bad. We too will return to the same warm relational state after overcoming the pandemic, but until then we must be cautious. The peculiar nature of this virus means it manifests differently in different people.”
