Police Seek to Close 'Meymandari' Market, Farmers Oppose

The police are looking to close the 'Meymandari' market. Vendors are protesting against this decision, unwilling to accept the recommendations from the public health authorities which suggest selling their products in different locations.

“How am I supposed to sell the remaining products?” asked one of the vendors, indicating that they would be forced to throw their goods away. “If there is a virus here, it will continue regardless; it doesn’t matter whether it continues tomorrow or in the coming days, we will take the virus home with us,” the vendors complained.
