Personal Data of Citizens Who Died from Coronavirus Leaked on Facebook; Ministry of Health to Contact Law Enforcement
Personal data of citizens who died from the coronavirus has been leaked on the Facebook social network. The information is posted on a page named "Zndahn." This list contains the names, birth dates, addresses, and the hospitals where the deceased received treatment.
The data comes from several hospitals that had been repurposed to serve citizens infected with the coronavirus.
In an interview with Aravot.am, Alina Nikoghosyan, the spokesperson for the Minister of Health, confirmed that the list circulating on social media indeed pertains to individuals who died from the coronavirus. However, she stated that they have not yet fully reviewed the list to verify the accuracy of all the details.
According to Alina Nikoghosyan, the initial assumption is that there has been an “attack” on the healthcare system, and the data was leaked through this channel, as most of the information matches the system's records. She added, “I believe we will contact law enforcement to determine how the data was released.”
