Jordanian Princess Dina and Armenian Doctor Publish Joint Article in Renowned Magazine
Jordanian Princess Her Royal Highness Dina Mired, who currently serves as the President of the International Union for Cancer Control, has co-authored an article with pediatric oncologist and hematologist Gevorg Tamamyan, the head of the Armenian Children's Cancer and Blood Diseases Center, and Sonali Johnson, the head of the department at the International Union for Cancer Control.
According to Armenpress, the article has been published in the prestigious scientific journal Nature Reviews Cancer, which boasts an impact factor of 51, marking the first time an author from Armenia has been published in this world-renowned scientific journal.
The work discusses the challenges faced in oncology in war and post-war countries, describing the inequalities that cancer patients encounter. The article attempts to propose solutions aimed at alleviating the situation.
