A Close Contact Tested Positive for Coronavirus, I Immediately Took an RT-PCR Test: MP

Arthur Hovhannisyan, a member of the "My Step" parliamentary faction, made a post on his Facebook page announcing that he has taken a coronavirus test. He stated, "Yesterday I received information that one of my close contacts tested positive for coronavirus, with whom I had been in contact a few days ago. I immediately took an RT-PCR test, the results of which are NEGATIVE. This is yet another proof that maintaining social distance, wearing masks, and frequently sanitizing hands reduce, and in some cases prevent, the spread of the infection.

Today’s reported 517 new cases and 19 deaths should compel us to be even more disciplined and adhere to anti-epidemic rules. Wear masks, stay healthy."
