Weapon Sales: If They Have Evidence, Why Aren't They Arresting Sargsyan for It? Hayk Martirosyan
Political scientist Hayk Martirosyan made a post on his Facebook page regarding the government's statement on illegal weapon sales. Martirosyan's post is as follows:
“I believe that Serzh Sargsyan sold illegal weapons in the early 2000s. But a question arises: if the current authorities are talking about this, then they must have evidence. If they have evidence, why aren’t they arresting Sargsyan for it? And if they don’t have evidence, why are they denying similar accusations against Sargsyan's son-in-law? Furthermore, if evidence was needed for an arrest, why did they promise to punish everyone?”
