Roads Leading to St. John Chapel in Khaltakhchi to Be Blocked: Police
Although the police had issued a statement days ago urging people to refrain from visiting pilgrimage sites and organizing large gatherings during the weekends, there has still been a significant crowd at the St. John Chapel in Khaltakhchi. This has been reported by the Police.
“Furthermore, citizens are not adhering to anti-epidemic measures and social distancing in the vicinity of the chapel. Taking this into account, a decision has been made to block the roads leading to the chapel. We ask for the understanding of all pilgrims. This temporary decision has been made to ensure the health of everyone,” the police stated in their announcement.
