Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the President of Russia, has shared his unusual experiences while battling COVID-19. “It’s absolutely extraordinary when you lose your sense of taste and smell. You can’t distinguish a strawberry from a chicken,” admitted the Kremlin representative.

Peskov noted that the symptoms of COVID-19 resemble those of the flu, adding that initially, the situation may not seem that serious.

It is noteworthy that news of Peskov and his wife, figure skater Tatyana Navka, contracting the virus became public on May 12. He was discharged from the hospital on May 25.
