23 Citizens of Armenia Transferred from India to Armenia on Special Flight
In the context of efforts to assist Armenian citizens located in foreign countries and bring them back home amid the widespread outbreak of the new coronavirus, a special flight was organized by the Indian government on a commercial basis from Delhi to Yerevan on May 29, in collaboration with the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Armenian Embassy in India, and the Indian Embassy in Armenia.
“A total of 23 Armenian citizens located in India were transferred to Armenia, while 130 Indian students in Armenia were flown to India. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia expresses its deep gratitude to its Indian colleagues for their support,” the statement posted on the Facebook page of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
