7 People Die from COVID-19, 56-Year-Old Woman Had No Chronic Illness

In the last 24 hours, 7 people have died from coronavirus. The Ministry of Health reports that the deceased patients were aged 72 (male), 42 (female), 59 (male), 66 (male), 65 (female), 64 (male), and 56 (female). Except for the last one, all had accompanying chronic illnesses.

The previous day, 1 death was recorded, attributed to another illness.

As of May 29 at 11:00 AM, a total of 8,676 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 3,297 have recovered, and 120 resulted in death. Currently, 5,214 patients are receiving treatment for the coronavirus.

A total of 56,042 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are confirmed 460 new cases of coronavirus and 10 recoveries.
