Positive Coronavirus Test Result for Caregiver at Mari Izmirlian Orphanage
The test result for the caregiver at the Mari Izmirlian Orphanage, who was first suspected of having coronavirus due to fever, has come back positive. This was stated in an interview with NEWS.am by Sona Martirosyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, who noted that the caregiver has been at home since the first day when symptoms were noticed.
Currently, there are a total of 16 confirmed cases of the infection at the orphanage, including 7 among the staff and 9 among the children.
It is also noteworthy that invited doctors and nurses from the Arabkir Medical Complex - Institute of Children's and Adolescent Health are currently working at the Mari Izmirlian Orphanage.
