COVID-19 Cases Rise by 2,258 in Iran Over the Last Day

The Armenian Embassy in Iran presents the COVID-19 statistics for May 28, comparing them to the previous day.

In the last 24 hours, the number of infected individuals in Iran has increased by 2,258, bringing the total to 143,849. During this period, 63 new deaths have been reported, with the total fatalities due to COVID-19 reaching 7,627 since the outbreak began.

As of now, 2,543 individuals are in critical condition. Furthermore, in the past day, the number of recoveries from the coronavirus has increased by 1,812, with a total of 112,988 recoveries recorded in the country. To date, a total of 876,492 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in Iran.
