Armenian Police Set Up Checkpoints on Interregional Roads
To ensure constant monitoring of passenger transport and light passenger vehicles, the Armenian police have installed checkpoints and roadblocks on interregional roads. This was stated by Armenian Police Chief Arman Sargsyan during a press conference.
“The Armenian police have placed an adequate number of roadblocks and checkpoints on interregional roads, which allow police officers to continuously monitor the vehicles used by citizens and public transportation vehicles. In cases of violations, the respective drivers or business entities are subjected to administrative liability. Police units and officers are conducting monitoring and preventive measures in various directions across the republic,” Sargsyan noted.
