Armenia Among Top 15 Countries with Active COVID-19 Cases per Million Population

According to data from Worldometers, Armenia is ranked among the top 15 countries with more than 1 million population in terms of active COVID-19 cases. Depending on the final positions of the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, Armenia holds the 12th to 14th position with 1,610 active cases per million inhabitants.

The list also includes Qatar, Kuwait, the USA, Belgium, Bahrain, Singapore, Sweden, Chile, Belarus, and Peru. It is likely that the United Kingdom and the Netherlands are also in the top 15.

As of May 28, there have been a total of 8,216 reported COVID-19 cases in Armenia, with 113 fatalities and 3,287 recoveries.
