70 Armenian Citizens Who Were Stranded in Upper Lars Headed to Armenia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia reports that 70 Armenian citizens, who have been at the Upper Lars checkpoint for an extended period, along with those registered at the Armenian Consulate in Rostov-on-Don, departed for Armenia on May 28 at 13:20. They were transported by three buses provided by the Armenian government.
It is important to note that this transfer was conducted as an exceptional measure. The Ministry also informs that the entry of foreign citizens into Georgia through the Upper Lars checkpoint remains closed.
