VIDEO. It is possible that an MP might resign for various reasons, says Alen Simonian
Today, I cannot make a statement regarding any specific individual, but it is possible that an MP might resign for various reasons, including transitioning to another position. This was stated by the Vice President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, during a conversation with reporters at the Assembly on May 27, addressing circulating rumors that "My Step" coalition MPs are being pressured to resign.
“We do not have a 'black list'; we have a team, we have a strategy, and we have an overall political understanding. There cannot be a black list because names are often mentioned regarding this or that MP from 'My Step', but a month, several months, or even several years pass, and nothing actually changes. Unfortunately, no one is held accountable for this, and I, unfortunately, cannot publicly ask this question, why what was written back then didn’t happen,” said the Vice President of the National Assembly.
