The Constitutional Court and the Judicial System Cannot Be a Fake Agenda: Alen Simonyan
If there is a government and some process related to the Constitutional Court or the judicial system, it cannot be a fake agenda. This was stated today, on May 27, by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a conversation with reporters, responding to claims by opposition figures that the existing issues surrounding the Constitutional Court represent a fake agenda.
'The Constitutional Court and the judicial system cannot be a fake agenda, because in that case, you suggest that a problem concerning one of the branches of government is actually not important for Armenia. That is nonsensical in itself. After all, if the ruling faction and the Constitutional Court see an issue in some matter, then their perception of the problem may simply be a matter of taste or political perspective,' he said.
