56-Year-Old Man Among 7 COVID-19 Fatalities Had No Chronic Illness, MoH Reports
As of May 27, at 11:00 AM, a total of 7,774 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed, of which 3,255 have recovered, and 98 have resulted in death.
The Ministry of Health reports that there are currently 4,377 patients receiving treatment for the coronavirus. In total, 53,678 tests have been conducted.
Thus, there are 372 newly confirmed cases of the virus and 35 recoveries reported. Regarding the fatalities, the patients were aged 85 (female), 78 (female), 69 (female), 60 (female), 76 (male), 66 (female), and a 56-year-old male. Except for the latter, all the remaining fatalities had accompanying chronic diseases.
It was also reported that 5 deaths occurred the previous day where patients tested positive for coronavirus, but the cause of death was attributed to other illnesses. The total number of such cases is 44.
