49 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Gegharkunik Province

As of the last two days, a total of 455 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Gegharkunik Province, of which 214 have recovered, and 6 have resulted in death. This information was shared by Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan on his Facebook page.

“Thus, we have 49 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus, with 10 recoveries. Previously, we also reported a death where the patient was diagnosed with the coronavirus, but the death occurred due to another illness. The number of such cases is 1,” he added.

Confirmed cases have been reported in various communities of the province including Vardenis, Mets Masrik, Shatvan, Sotk, Norakert, Tsovinari, Dzovazard, Sevan, Ddmashen, Geghamavan, Zovaber, Martuni (town), Khachaghbyur, Areguni, Lchashen, Tsakhkar, Verin Getashen, Vraser, Arpunk, Dzovak, Pokr Masrik, Vardadzor, Zolakhar, Geghamasar, Gandzak, Chkalovka, Astghadzor, Artsvanist, Nerkhin Getashen, Dzoragukh, Tsovagukh, Akunk, Lusakunk, Vaghashen, Gavar, and Karmirgyugh.
