Video: "Happy Independence Day, Georgia" - Alen Simonyan
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan congratulated Georgia on the occasion of its Independence Day with a video message posted on his Facebook page. "Happy Independence Day, Georgia, with love from Armenia," he captioned the video.
Earlier, it was reported that Georgia had officially declared that it would demand a response from Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan. In particular, Georgian Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze stated that Torosyan's criticism regarding the coronavirus situation in Georgia was unfounded and raised certain questions. Tikaradze emphasized that the Georgian side had been in constant contact with Armenian partners and had conducted consultations regarding the epidemiological situation in both countries. The Chief Doctor of Georgia highlighted that if their Armenian counterpart had any questions, they could have utilized that communication channel and would have received answers. The minister also noted that they plan to re-establish contact with their Armenian counterpart to seek clarifications.
