The Statement of My Armenian Colleague is Groundless: Minister of Health of Georgia
The Minister of Health of Georgia, Ekaterine Tikaradze, has responded to the statement made by the Armenian Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan. She stated, “The statement is groundless and raises several questions. We have had numerous phone conversations during the time when the pandemic began, held consultations, and compared the situations in our countries. If he had questions, he could have taken advantage of that opportunity, and we would have answered all his questions. The results we have in the Ministry of Health of Georgia provide no reason for doubt, as confirmed not only by the numbers but also by the evaluations given by the society. Therefore, some doubts arise and questions remain as to what basis my colleague had for making such a statement,” said Ekaterine Tikaradze, adding that there are plans to communicate with the Armenian Minister of Health regarding this issue.
