Inter-Regional Checkpoints to be Established for Inspections: Nikol Pashinyan
Starting today, Prime Minister Pashinyan will regularly hold press briefings after the meetings of the commandant's office. Pashinyan noted that we are dealing with the second wave of coronavirus. According to him, the rules set by the commandant's office are adequate for the situation and effectively content-driven. He stated that the problem lies in the adherence to these rules.
Pashinyan emphasized the importance of observing safety regulations, stating that if these rules are followed, the situation will not only improve but strive towards zero cases. Enhanced inspections will be conducted at inter-regional borders, and checkpoints will be established for these inspections. In the event of violations of the rules, strict administrative penalties will be enforced.
The Prime Minister reiterated that one of the main approaches is dialogue with citizens and encouraged everyone to do their part to avoid infecting others and themselves.
