Daniel Ioannisyan: The Campaign by 'Bright Armenia' Against Masks is an Unacceptable Disgrace
Daniel Ioannisyan, the founder of the 'Union of Informed Citizens' NGO, program coordinator, and member of the Public Council, wrote on his Facebook page:
“The campaign by 'Bright Armenia' against masks is an unacceptable disgrace. I have nothing to say— the authorities are not saints either, and the well-known incident at the Shushi celebration significantly damaged public motivation in the fight against coronavirus. But at least the authorities do not speak out against it.
I don’t know why 'Bright Armenia' is doing this. Perhaps they want the number of cases to increase, to weaken the government's position, or maybe they are just obsessed with criticizing the authorities. It doesn’t matter.
In any case, while 'TV5' conducts an anti-mask campaign subtly and with nuance, 'Bright Armenia' is doing it openly and shamelessly.”
