Karine Bournazyan Found to Have Coronavirus; Actress Passed Away on May 24

The actress Karine Bournazyan, who passed away on May 24, has been confirmed to have contracted coronavirus. In a conversation with an Armenpress correspondent, the theater director Karo Shahbazyan stated that this information was provided to him by one of Bournazyan's relatives.

“There were suspicions after Bournazyan's death that the actress was also infected with coronavirus. This has now been confirmed. She had other health issues, including heart failure, diabetes, and more, and was constantly undergoing treatment. Bournazyan had not left her home for several months. By the time the coronavirus spread, her health was already very poor. She frequently requested ambulance services,” noted Shahbazyan.

According to him, without an autopsy being performed when the virus is confirmed, it is impossible to determine the exact cause of the actress's death.
