406 Coronavirus Cases Confirmed in Gegharkunik Province

As of May 25, a total of 406 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Gegharkunik Province, with 204 recoveries and 6 deaths, according to Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan's Facebook page.

“Thus, we have recorded 37 new confirmed cases of coronavirus, 35 recoveries, and 1 new death. Regarding the death case, the patient was a 77-year-old male with underlying chronic health issues. Previously, we also reported a death where the patient tested positive for the coronavirus, but the death was caused by another illness. The number of such cases is 1,” he said.

Confirmed cases are distributed across the communities of Vardenis, Mets Masrik, Shatvan, Sotk, Norakert, Tsovinar, Tsovazhard, Sevan, Ddmashen, Geghamavan, Zovaber, Martuni (city), Khachaghbyur, Arevuni, Lchashen, Tsakqar, Verin Getashen, Varsar, Arpunk, Tsovak, Pkhor Masrik, Vardadzor, Zolakhar, Geghamasar, Gank, Chkalovka, Astghadzor, Artsvapanist, Nerkin Getashen, Dzoragyugh, Tsovagyugh, Akunk, Lusakunk, Vaghashen, and Gavarr,” he noted.
