15 COVID-19 Cases Reported at Mari Izmirlian Orphanage, 9 of Whom Are Children
At the Mari Izmirlian Orphanage, there are 15 confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 9 are children and 6 are staff members. This was stated in an interview with Tert.am by Sona Martirosyan, spokeswoman for the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs.
"There are 15 confirmed cases, of which 9 are children and 6 are employees. None of them have been hospitalized because they do not exhibit symptoms. Just yesterday, one of the caregivers showed a temperature of 37.6 degrees in the evening, and immediately they were isolated and sent home. Due to that caregiver's fever, others were tested, as none of them had any complaints," said Martirosyan.
