Vatican Museums to Reopen on June 1 Post Coronavirus Quarantine
The Vatican Museums will resume their operations starting June 1 after the quarantine imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Before entering the museum, visitors will undergo temperature checks. They will also be required to wear masks. Additionally, tickets can only be purchased online, which means the extra fee of 4 euros for reservation will be temporarily waived.
Furthermore, the free entry to the museums on the last Sunday of each month will be suspended for the time being. In total, 12 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in the Vatican.
