Nikol Pashinyan's Live Broadcast on the New Coronavirus Outbreak
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke via a Facebook live broadcast about the new outbreak of the coronavirus.
The Prime Minister announced that the State Health Inspection Agency has initiated proceedings and will draw conclusions regarding possible abuses in the mask market.
Cafes, restaurants, beauty salons, or other establishments will be closed immediately if they violate anti-epidemic rules.
Everyone in the trade sector must wear masks; otherwise, they will face fines. In vehicles, both drivers and passengers—even if they are family members—must wear masks. If this is violated, fines will be issued again.
The main reason for the increase in cases is industrial enterprises, where 75% or even up to 80% of our cases are recorded, particularly in industrial enterprises and service sectors.
The Prime Minister noted that the majority of cases have been reported in the banking system, targeting those who have sought assistance through the government's anti-crisis 9th program. Banks have not always adhered to the relevant rules.
“In order to receive assistance, these individuals had to go to banks, and now it appears that with our aid, we have also helped people get infected,” he stated.
Pashinyan mentioned that the situation is becoming more complicated, and strict adherence to the rules established by the Coordinator must be followed.
