COVID-19 Cases Rise Again in Russia

The daily number of new infections in Russia has increased again, reaching 9,434. This follows a trend of continuous decline over the past days. The previous day saw an increase of 2.8 percent, which has now risen to 2.9 percent, according to the Russian TASS agency.

Overall, the total number of infected individuals in Russia has exceeded 335,000. Almost 108,000 of these people have already recovered from the virus. The total number of deaths stands at 3,388. Notably, after 150 deaths reported the previous day, there has been a slight decrease today with 139 deaths recorded.

It should be noted that Russia has become one of the new centers of the coronavirus in recent weeks. It ranks second only to the United States in terms of the number of infections. However, the pace of infection spread here has somewhat declined. Considering the infection rates in Brazil, it is likely that Brazil may surpass Russia today.
