Accident on Garni-Jrvezh Highway: One Fatality

On May 23, at 02:00 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of an accident on the Jrvezh-Abovyan highway, near the 'Tziran' restaurant. A vehicle had collided with a wall and there were casualties.

A specialized rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations headed to the scene.

It was confirmed that a BMW vehicle, driven by David Gh. (born 1978), had crashed into a bridge barrier on the Garni-Jrvezh highway, resulting in the driver's death at the scene.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle from the power supply.
