61 Cases of Coronavirus Registered in Syunik, 49 Have Recovered: Regional Administration

In the Syunik province, 61 cases of coronavirus have been registered so far, with 12 active cases currently reported. This information is stated in a declaration published on the regional administration's page.

“We would like to inform you that as of now, the following picture of the spread of the new coronavirus disease is present in Syunik province: A total of 61 confirmed cases, of which 49 individuals have recovered, and 12 people are receiving treatment. Among the active cases, 5 are from Kajaran, 2 are from Goris, 4 are from Sisian, and 1 is from Meghri. The 12 patients are located at the Kapan medical center.

Dear citizens, we again urge and call upon you to strictly adhere to the guidelines related to safe behavior and disinfection according to the RA Ministry of Health and the commandant's office, to limit contacts, and to take measures at home, at work, and outdoors to protect yourselves and your loved ones and to prevent the spread of the virus.

We particularly call on the residents of Sisian community to remain vigilant, as the last registered cases have been recorded there.”
