Major Accident in Ararat Province: 1 Dead, 3 Injured

On May 22, a serious and tragic car accident occurred in the Ararat Province. At around 10:30 AM, vehicles with license plates 07 SX 070, a Mercedes, and 36 NV 966, an Opel, collided on the 1.5 km stretch of the Shahumyan-Taperakan rural road.

According to Shamshyan.com, four individuals were taken to the Masis Medical Center with bodily injuries, where one of them passed away without regaining consciousness.

In connection with the incident, the Investigative Committee has initiated a case under part 2 of Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (a traffic accident that negligently caused a person's death). The police and investigative department are working to identify the deceased, drivers, and the injured parties.
