Our Actions Regarding Coronavirus Are Not Good: Nikol Pashinyan
Our actions regarding the coronavirus pandemic are not good. This statement was made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the start of a government meeting. According to him, 335 new cases of infection were recorded yesterday, and the death toll has reached 70.
He stated that we must be able to maintain quarantine conditions without officially declaring quarantine. “I wanted to inquire about the public sentiments regarding the coronavirus situation. From there, I learned surprising facts that even the government is giving people money to agree to be labeled as coronavirus patients. This has a specific explanation, allegedly to receive international aid, and deaths caused by other diseases are being recorded as deaths related to coronavirus. I want to emphasize again that from day one, we have not communicated any inaccurate information. Our government has not provided any manipulative information to the public throughout its existence. The situation is much more serious than we can imagine. We need to take the strictest measures to bring the pandemic under control so that we do not have to resort to the most extreme restrictions. We must be able to create quarantine conditions without declaring quarantine,” said the Prime Minister.
