VIDEO: Belgian Hospital Staff Create 'Shame Corridor' to Greet Prime Minister
The medical staff of Saint Pierre Hospital in Belgium formed a 'shame corridor' to greet Prime Minister Sophie Wilmès during her visit to the hospital, turning their backs to her as a gesture of protest. Over 100 doctors and nurses participated in the demonstration.
According to ria.ru, the hospital workers aimed to express their dissatisfaction regarding the lack of salary increases and bonuses over the past two months. The news outlet reports that later on, the Prime Minister engaged in a dialogue with the medical personnel.
