Changes in Average Prices of Consumer Goods Registered in Artsakh: 3 Price Increases, 5 Price Decreases
The specialists of the Public Services Regulatory Commission and Economic Competition have reported that on May 18, 2020, an observation was conducted at 20 commercial establishments in Stepanakert, where 43 types of commonly consumed goods were examined. Compared to the previous observation, 8 types of goods showed changes in average prices, including 3 increases and 5 decreases. This information was shared by the Information Headquarters of Artsakh.
Specifically, price increases were noted for apples (1 kg) by 100 drams or 16.7%, almonds (1 kg) by 50 drams or 6.5%, and buckwheat (1 kg) by 22 drams or 2.9%.
On the other hand, the average price decreases were observed for lemons (1 piece) by 50 drams or 13.6%, tomatoes (1 kg) by 33 drams or 4.5%, local sour cream (200 grams) by 1 dram or 0.4%, Akbar tea (100 grams) by 2 drams or 0.3%, and sugar (1 kg) by 1 dram or 0.3%.
