The Traffic Police has issued a clarification regarding its covert service, stating:

“A few days ago, an announcement was made that the Traffic Police would also be conducting covert operations, which implies a service carried out by officers of the traffic patrol service using vehicles that do not have color graphics or distinguishing marks, and are not registered.

This announcement has caused unnecessary speculation in certain circles of society and online, resulting in some concern. We clarify that this service is aimed at detecting drivers who grossly and deliberately violate traffic rules, such as those engaging in drifting, driving out of their lane, demonstrating blatant disrespect towards other road participants, and undertaking violations that endanger the lives and health of others.

In other words, the covert traffic patrol service will be conducted in specific locations to identify particular violations, with the goal of ensuring safe traffic conditions. We again urge all traffic participants to adhere to the traffic rules.”
