The End of the Coronavirus Pandemic May Not Be Visible Before 5 Years, Minister Says

The Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan, calls for sobriety and expresses confidence that the current situation caused by the coronavirus will persist for a long time. Torosyan stated that citizens should not return to their daily lives, but instead create a new normal.

“Today, I participated in a remote working discussion with representatives from six countries around the world. We exchanged experiences, and the situation is similar everywhere; in some places, there are few cases, while in others, many. The concluding note was that even if a medication or vaccine for this disease is discovered, the end of the coronavirus pandemic may not be visible for at least another five years,” he said.
