Two Individuals Arrested in Connection to the Death of Conscription Soldier Sasun Margaryan

The case concerning the death of conscription soldier, Private Sasun Sureni Margaryan, is under investigation by the first garrison investigative department. As part of this criminal case, an arrest has been made of Senior Officer Lieutenant H.H. on suspicion of committing an offense related to violent actions against a subordinate, as provided by part 3 of Article 358.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

Additionally, Junior Sergeant G.S., a conscript soldier, has also been arrested on suspicion of committing offenses involving violent actions against a subordinate, violating the rules of conduct among soldiers, and causing the soldier's suicide through negligence, as defined in part 3 of Article 358.1, part 1 of Article 359, and part 2 of Article 360.1 of the Criminal Code.

The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
