A first case of coronavirus has been registered in the village of Mastara in the Aragatsotn province. Mastara's mayor, Sargis Avetisyan, stated in an interview with NEWS.am: "The infected individual is a woman around 50 years old. She went to Maralik to her parents' house and returned infected. I don't know for sure, but it is said she attended a funeral."
He noted that the infected woman lives with her husband, while their children reside abroad, and she had limited contact, only interacting with a neighbor who lives alone. "Her husband and the neighbor are currently isolated, and she has been transferred to Yerevan, but her condition is good," he said.
