NSS Denies Reports of Resignation Requests from NSS Director and Other Staff

The National Security Service (NSS) has denied reports that the NSS leadership has submitted resignation requests. "The news circulating in the media that NSS Director and other employees have written resignation letters is not true. The NSS continues its normal activities," the NSS information department told NEWS.am.

Earlier, reports surfaced that since the appointment of Argishti Kyaramyan as NSS Deputy Director, unrest had developed within the NSS, and several dozen officials had submitted resignation requests. According to media sources, the head of the NSS investigative department and his deputies had resigned. It has also been reported that NSS Director Eduard Martirosyan had submitted a resignation request.
