One COVID-19 Patient Dies in Armenia, Cause of Death Not Related to Virus

In the last 24 hours, one person infected with the coronavirus has died; however, the cause of death was not due to the infection. The Ministry of Health reports that the patient had confirmed coronavirus infection, but the death was caused by another illness. The total number of such cases now stands at seven.

As of May 6 at 11:00 AM, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease is 2,782, with 1,135 recoveries and 40 deaths. Currently, 1,600 patients are actively receiving treatment for the virus. A total of 26,929 tests have been conducted.

Thus, there are 163 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease and 24 recoveries.
