Gas Situation is Concerning: Pashinyan
During a session in the National Assembly, MP Gor Gevorgyan utilized the presence of the Prime Minister to inquire about the situation surrounding gas prices. “The situation related to gas is, of course, concerning,” Pashinyan stated.
He noted that Russian partners are striving to ensure that the operations of “Gazprom Armenia” are profitable. According to Pashinyan, the Armenian side generally understands that investments are necessary, pipelines need to be maintained, and so on.
However, he emphasized that, under current conditions and the collapse of the energy market, the Russian company must adopt a different approach. Consequently, the Armenian government's stance will be to negotiate on this matter.
