Erik Grigoryan Dismissed from Ministerial Position
Erik Grigoryan has been relieved of his duties as the Minister of Environment. The decree was signed by the President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian.
"Based on the Prime Minister's recommendation, in accordance with Article 131 of the Constitution and Article 5, Part 1 of the Law on the Structure and Activities of the Government, Erik Grigoryan is dismissed from the position of Minister of Environment," the decree states.
Erik Grigoryan was appointed as Minister of Environment on June 1, 2019, after serving as Minister of Nature Protection from May 12, 2018.
