Cases Total 524,032, with 26,202 Severe Cases: Torosyan Presents Coronavirus Scenario

The Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, presented a concerning scenario regarding the situation of coronavirus infections on his Facebook page, which has yet to occur. He stated, 'Yesterday, I spoke about a scenario of the spread of the coronavirus disease that, fortunately, has not happened yet. We must do everything possible to ensure it never occurs.'

In the attached image, calculations regarding this scenario are displayed. The total number of cases is 524,032, with 26,202 classified as severe. The number of required hospital beds at peak times would be 12,445. Currently, we have around 1,550 beds allocated, while the total bed capacity in the country is approximately 12,000,' the minister wrote.
