MP Hrachya Hakobyan Lacks Political Responsibility: Arsen Babayan
In response to MP Hrachya Hakobyan's statements, human rights defender Arsen Babayan will submit a request to the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia on May 1 at 12:00 PM. The purpose of the request is to seek a legal assessment of the allegations raised by the MP, which imply potential criminal acts.
Babayan posted on his Facebook page about the situation, stating: "Since MP Hrachya Hakobyan does not bear political responsibility, he should be subject to criminal accountability. As you know, MP Hakobyan made a statement concerning a report of a crime today."
He further detailed, "Tomorrow, I will submit a request to the Prosecutor General's Office regarding the issues raised in Hakobyan's statement, which contain inferences about apparent criminal acts. I will speak about the questions raised in the request, Hakobyan's irresponsible actions, his slanderous remarks, and other related matters in front of the Prosecutor General's entrance tomorrow."
