Number of Coronavirus Infections in Russia Increases by 6,411

In Russia, the number of individuals infected with the coronavirus has increased by 6,411. New cases of the infection have been recorded in 83 regions of the country. According to RIA Novosti, the operational headquarters for combating the spread of the virus reports that there have been 72 new fatalities.

The total number of infected individuals in Russia has reached 93,558, marking a daily increase of 7.4%. The overall death toll has risen to 867. A total of 8,456 people have recovered from the virus. In terms of total case numbers, Russia has also surpassed Iran, where confirmed cases stand at 91,472.
