One Armenian Citizen Hospitalized with Coronavirus in Poland
According to information from the Embassy of Armenia in Poland, there is currently one infected Armenian citizen who has been hospitalized. This was stated by Armenian Ambassador to Poland Samvel Mkrtchyan in an interview with the European magazine 'Ore', responding to a question about whether there are Armenians among the infected and what their health condition is.
“The embassy has been regularly publishing information on its Facebook page regarding the steps taken by the Polish authorities. Financial assistance has also been provided to those in dire need. Unfortunately, up to this moment, it has only been possible to organize the return of a limited number of Armenian citizens to Armenia. However, work in this direction is ongoing, utilizing the available air communication options with neighboring countries. It is important to note that many Armenian citizens prefer to wait for the restoration of direct flights from Warsaw to Yerevan,” said Mkrtchyan.
