Support Provided to 78,783 Citizens Through 8th Initiative, Says Prime Minister's Assistant

As of now, we have provided support to approximately 70,000 families through the 9th initiative, and it is highly likely that by the end of the day, that number will double. This statement was made by Nairi Sargsyan, assistant to the Prime Minister, during a press conference at the Armenian Government's press center.

The initiative pertains to families with minor children who are simultaneously unemployed. Each family receives support of 26,500 drams for each minor child.

Referring to the 8th initiative, Sargsyan noted, “With the 8th initiative, we have currently provided support to 78,783 citizens, totaling 5 billion 456 million drams. Since this morning, we have expanded the list of new affected sectors that were approved during last week’s government meeting. Approximately 8,000 business entities have been added to the list.”
