Armenia and Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministers to Hold Video Conference Tomorrow
On April 20, Armenia's Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanian held a video conference with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group: Igor Popov (Russia), Stéphane Visconti (France), and Andrew Schofer (USA), as well as the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Andrzej Kasprzyk.
The interlocutors discussed the recent developments in the peaceful resolution process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Minister Mnatsakanian referred to the nationwide elections held in Artsakh.
The parties emphasized the imperative of unconditional adherence to the ceasefire regime in the context of the global fight against the new type of coronavirus. Opinions were exchanged on steps to ensure the continuity of activities under the current conditions.
In this context, an agreement was reached to hold a video conference of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan on April 21, with the mediation and participation of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
